Save the Date: October 6-8, 2022

The National Resident Matching Program® (NRMP®) will convene its stakeholder conference in person in October 2022 near beautiful San Diego! The meeting is intended to provide a forum for robust conversation among members of the undergraduate and graduate medical education communities about issues relevant to the transition to residency.

  • Identify ways to strengthen the transition from medical school to residency and the tools and resources needed to make the transition a success
  • Discuss and debate the current state of the transition to residency recommendations
  • Explore innovative projects and research initiatives that better inform the UME and GME communities’ understanding of the selection, recruitment, and training experience

As part of the 2022 conference, NRMP will offer two 3.5-hour pre-conference workshops on October 6: One will be dedicated to medical school staff and faculty and the other to the graduate medical education office, program directors, and program staff. The pre-conference workshop moderated by NRMP staff, will take a deep dive into topics designed to enhance attendees’ understanding and navigation of the Main Residency Match and the availability of important Match-related tools and resources. Space in both workshops will be limited and filled on a first come, first served basis.

Conference registration will open in fall 2021 and will be limited to 350 attendees. Please plan to join us!
